Principle

Digital identity enables users to access online services via MConnect and to electronically sign digital documents.

Within the framework of the issuance of certificates related to digital identity,  the Digital Services Department acts as the Registration Authority for non-Monegasques and non-residents.

Legal term

This Application, hereinafter referred to as the « Online digital identity application for non-Monegasque non-residents users » is operated by the State of Monaco, Digital Service Department (DSN), hereinafter referred to as “The Administration”, which has its head office at 2 rue du Gabian, Immeuble "Les Industries", MC 98000 MONACO.

Process for requesting, renewing and cancelling certificates

Applying for an electronic certificate 

For any request to create a digital identity and associated electronic certificates, the user must have been invited to make the request by a competent government department.

Renewal 

The electronic certificates are issued for a maximum of three (3) years.

To renew independently, users must first complete their MConnect Profile. If this is not the case, the user must contact user support.

Cancellation 

In the event of loss or theft of their mobile phone and possible compromise of their Certificates, Users must revoke their Certificates via the MConnect Profile. To do this, they must first create their Profile. Otherwise, the User must contact User Support.
