I am neither Monegasque nor resident in Monaco
The Monegasque digital identity is a digital service that allows facilitating access to online services and sign digital documents in Monaco.
Previously, an e-mail and a password were required to access Government or City Hall teleservices. The State of Monaco is now making available a secure and simple to access your online services.
Getting the Digital Identity
If you are not of Monegasque nationality and you do not reside in Monaco, you must be invited by a Monaco State service to create your digital identity to have the Monegasque digital identity and MConnect authentication and signature services.
In this case, you will receive an e-mail allowing you to carry out this process online. Refer to this email and follow the instructions.
You will need to install theMConnect Mobile app on your phone to finalise the creation of your digital identity.

Authenticate with MConnect
After you have installed your digital identity in the MConnect Mobile App, you can authenticate on the MConnect partner online services.
- Go to the desired online service and click on "Login with MConnect"
- Enter your phone number
- You receive a notification on the MConnect Mobile app: accept authentication and validate (with Touch ID / Face ID or the app code)
You are then authenticated on the desired online service.
Create my MConnect Profile
To manage your digital identity, it is important to create your MConnect profile.
To create your Profile MConnect, please authenticate with the MConnect Mobile app on https://profil.mconnect.mc, choose "Create or manage my profile", then follow these steps:
You can:
- Renew your electronic certificates, which allow you to authenticate and sign electronically with MConnect
- Change your phone digital identity
- Be notified of the upcoming expiry of your electronic certificates. The latter have a lifespan of 3 years.
- Revoke (disable) your online electronic certificates if necessary, in case of loss of your phone for example
- Be notified in the event of a major service interruption
Renew my electronic certificates or change phone
You can renew your electronic certificates or change your digital phone identity independently from your MConnect Profile, Renewal tab. You must have previously created your MConnect Profile.
If you have not created your MConnect Profile, and you no longer have your digital identity installed in the MConnect Mobile app, please contact our user support.
