Revoke my card certificates
If your card is lost or stolen and you have activated your digital identity, you must revoke your electronic certificates.
What is revocation?
By revoking, i.e. deactivating, your electronic certificates linked to your digital identity, you will make it impossible to use your digital identity.
The MConnect Mobile application will be automatically reset, and your data will be deleted from the application.
This revocation in no way replaces the declaration of loss or theft to be made to the competent police services.
To be able to revoke your certificates independently, online and 24/7, please complete your MConnect Profile now.
How do I revoke?
If you have already completed your profile, you can revoke your certificates online from the MConnect Profile:
- by logging on with the MConnect Mobile application if you still have your smartphone.
- by entering the contact details (email or telephone) you provided when you created your MConnect profile. A temporary code will be sent to you to verify your identity.
If you have not previously completed your MConnect profile, you can revoke your certificates by contacting your Registration Authority:
- The Town Hall for Monegasques
- The Residents' Section of the Direction de la Sûreté Publique for residents
How can I use my digital identity after revocation?
To use your digital identity again after revoking your electronic certificates, you must renew them.
If you are no longer in possession of your card, please apply for a renewal of your identity card or a duplicate of your residence permit.
To apply for an identity card, please contact the Mairie's Service d'Etat Civil - Nationalité.
To apply for a duplicate residence permit, please use the dedicated teleservice at MonGuichet.
If you have revoked your certificates online using the MConnect Profile and have subsequently found your identity or residence card, please go to an interactive terminal with your card to renew your certificates.
If you have revoked your electronic certificates by contacting Monaco Town Hall (for Monegasques) or the Section des Résidents de la Sûreté Publique (for Monegasque residents), your card is no longer valid. In this case, you must apply for a new identity card or a duplicate of your residence permit.
To apply for an identity card, please contact the Mairie's Service d'Etat Civil - Nationalité.
To apply for a duplicate residence permit, please use the dedicated teleservice at MonGuichet.
